Ecotourism

We offer you the best service and quality in the learning of Spanish.  Our objective is to involve our students in the real Costa Rica.  We want you to know our culture, our marvelous natural sites and our people that are known around the world for their warmness and friendliness.  Thus, the rural community tourism option is a way to approach our culture.

We want to offer you two amazing options to spend your weekends in Costa Rica:

Adventure in Rural Community

We want you to discover a different Costa Rica by knowing our little towns and their wonderful people. We’ll give you a really unforgettable experience in the country side where you'll learn how to: milk cows, cook typical food, and participate in the harvesting of fruit and vegetables. Besides all of that, you can enjoy the amazing views of the volcanoes, rivers and most importantly, live with rural families that give you their love and friendliness.

See some of our options:

  • Horse back riding tour to the waterfall and Fortune River
  • Go farming day!
  • Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge Boat-Tour

Touristic Program

Costa Rica is a very rich country when it comes to nature and biodiversity.  Its geographically unique distribution provides the perfect place for ecology lovers to enjoy nature.  There are two beautiful coastlines, one on the Caribbean and the other on the Pacific with incredible beaches of white, black and gray sand with crystal clear waters.  There is even a beach that is full of tiny little sea shell pieces instead of sand. There are beaches where surfing, snorkeling, diving and kayaking are possible.  Nature shows its splendor with incredible mountains and their amazing cloud, dry tropical and rain forests just waiting for you to explore.

There are several active volcanoes.  The volcano Arenal is the most amazing with it’s small eruptions and red hot lava flows which can be seen at night, and Poás has the third largest crater in the world!!!  What is more incredible is that you can walk right to the edge of it and look down into the crater.

  • Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs
  • Poás Volcano National Park
  • Manuel Antonio National Park
  • Canopy /Adventure Cable
  • Rappelling
  • Horse back riding

You can find our ecological tours in program B.
